Duration: 3 hours

With the basic course of 8 hours you create a solid basis for your further kitesurfing skills.

In the basic course you will learn the basics of kitesurfing. The aim of the basic course is to learn how to use the kite safely on land and in the water. The basic course has a fixed starting day! The hours can then be divided over the following days or over several weekends. Prior knowledge is not required.

Important: The kitesurf basic course begins on a specific starting day. After that, the hours can be taken as you wish. It is therefore not absolutely necessary that all lessons are carried out on subsequent days!

Information for parents:
Kiting can only take place when the wind blows more than 6 knots. Please allow a certain degree of flexibility for your children.

Instruction: kite assembly and disassembly including launch and landing
Flight school 1: Softkite fly on land with preparatory exercises for the water up to body drag
Flight school 2: Kite handling in the water with exercises for kite control on all courses and body drag part 2 on all courses up to the water start

The advanced course I picks you up exactly where you are at kiting. It is designed to bring you further in a targeted and rapid manner and builds on the first basic course lessons. Experience has shown us that it takes most kite newcomers around 20 hours to ride safely, hold upwind and run upwind. The safer you are on your kiteboard, the more fun, action and freedom you will experience.

Requirements: VDWS Level 2-4

This course is individually tailored to your existing skills. In this course you will learn safe kiting, jibing and gaining altitude.

Targeted training with our experienced instructors will help you gain deeper insights into driving and jumping techniques.

This course builds on the two previous courses. You train with your trainer from the carving jibe to the first jumping moves. If you have already achieved airtime, it can go to transition, rotations, loops or even an airpass!

On these days, your life is about one thing every day: Kiting!

Intensive course daily 4 hours land, water training and theory. After this course you will have gained an insight into kite sport. You learn best spot in the Wadden Sea. You will be divided into groups depending on your ability, so everyone can book this seminar.

The Norddeich surfing school is one of the pioneers when it comes to kite training. Owner Michael Vogel develops new training methods in and for the VDWS teaching team and the kite magazine, which we implement at the Norddeich surf school. Thanks to our many years of training experience, we always have the right tool to take you to your next level.
Only the current models are used. We mainly use Cabrinha Switchblade series kites for schooling.

In the windsurf taster course you will be introduced to surfing in a playful way. You are already surfing your first meters!

The contents of the taster course: Material and area briefing, sail and board control, maneuvering techniques, safety techniques.

Duration: 90 minutes

Age: from 6 years

Exercising in a group is more fun!
This is the right place for you if you have successfully completed your basic course. Prerequisites are safe altitude and turning.

In this course we will introduce you to the next maneuvers with individual training. We will teach you how to jibe, clew ahead, idle, water start and planing. You can have the newly learned maneuvers entered on your VDWS surfing license! The new steps help you to get the right board and sail when renting equipment.

The aim of this course is to drive all maneuvers safely at 4 Beaufort.

Age: from 6 years
Number of participants: at least 3 max. 10

With this voucher you can take part in one of our wingsurf taster courses.

In the taster course you can slowly approach wingsurfing. If you want more, you can then take the beginner's course and the taster course will be credited!

Duration: 2 hours

With this voucher you can take part in one of our Wingsurf basic courses.

In this 3-hour course you will get the perfect introduction to wingsurfing.

In the basic course you will learn the basics of wing surfing. Previous knowledge is not required! The aim of the beginners' course is to learn how to use the wing safely on land and in the water.

In the SUP taster course you will learn the right paddling technique and the first manoeuvres.

With this voucher you can take part in one of our snowkite taster courses.

In the taster course you can slowly get used to snowkiting and try out the sport.

If you want more, you can then take the snowkite beginner's course. You can have your taster course credited to you!

YOUR FIRST SNOWKITE EXPERIENCES

During the two course days you will gain your first snowkiting experience and you will get a feeling for the sport. How to launch, fly and land the kite correctly - you will learn the basics of snowkiting as you fly. You will also ski or snowboard for the first few meters.

We provide the complete kite equipment - trapeze, kite and bar - for the entire duration of the course. You only need to bring ski or snowboard equipment. You can also conveniently rent the equipment on site. As part of the beginner's course, you have the opportunity to take the exam for the VDWS kiteboarding license (49 euros).

Duration: Two days (6 hours in total - split between the two course days)

The camp is suitable for anyone who wants to learn windsurfing or take it to the next level.
We start with a briefing on land, this includes launching and approaching as well as the handling of the board and sail. Then each participant gets a wetsuit, board and sail.
